S1 E4: Applebuck Season


“Applebuck Season” begins with Applejack and Big Macintosh looking over the fields of apple trees that need to be harvested. Unfortunately Big Macintosh is injured and can’t help this year but Applejack says she’ll do it by herself. Big Macintosh protests (Yes, he actually speaks more than two words!) saying that there are way too much trees for just one pony but his protests fall on deaf ears. (more…)

S1 E3: The Ticket Master


“The Ticket Master” begins with Twilight Sparkle and Applejack carrying baskets full of apples. As they head to Sweet Apple Acres, Twilight receives a letter from Princess Celestia. Inside the letter are two tickets to the Grand Galloping Gala. Applejack then asks Twilight if she could have the other ticket so that she can sell apple products at the Gala and make money for her family. Before Twilight is able to give the ticket to her however, Rainbow Dash flies in after overhearing them. (more…)

S1 E2: Elements of Harmony


“Elements of Harmony” starts of where “The Mare in the Moon” left off, Nightmare Moon plunging Equestria into eternal darkness. Nightmare Moon escapes before anyone is able to catch her in a purple cloud. Quickly, Twilight Sparkle rushes home in order to find out more about the Elements of Harmony. While looking she is joined by Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Pinkie Pie. They ask what she is doing and Twilight explains that she is looking for a book on the Elements of Harmony which will help defeat Nightmare Moon. Pinkie Pie quickly finds the book in the “E” section (only Twilight wouldn’t check there first). What the book tells them is that they will find the Elements of Harmony deep in the Everfree Forest, a mysterious, magical, evil forest. (more…)

Since we are currently between seasons of “My Little Pony” I figured that I should go through each episode that has premiered so far and give a summary of it and my opinion, the same way I’d do it if the episode was new.
